My work has developed over many years and has gone through many stages. Underlying all my work is that I enjoy playing with colour and find the physical act of making something beautiful very satisfying.

The beaded jewellery I make incorporates beads of many colours, shapes and sizes. The colour and contrast produce a richness and a textural quality.

My latest work uses the technique of rag rugging. I was drawn to it because as with all the work I do you can use a wide variety of materials and a very large palette. I have adapted the technique to make a range of brooches, necklaces and flowers.
