Claire has been part of the trail since it's inception and seen it grow from a hopeful idea to a popular and eagerly anticipated annual event. Her jewellery is beautifully hand crafted in silver, often combined with organic and semi-precious stones, some cut and polished remaining true to their origin, others treated with acid to create wonderful patterns.

Her designs are influenced by the natural beauty of the stones she works with and the organic forms and textures of plants, seed pods, leaves and bark, using a variety of techniques to create jewellery that varies from subtle and modern to bold and striking.

A particular focus of Claire's work is to develop new methods of fastening that have an integral relationship with the design and add character to the finished form. She also takes great pleasure in working with clients to create bespoke individual pieces of jewellery, often developed from the highlights of her own collection.
